Cambridge Development have withdrawn from the semi-final against Cantabs at Sedley Taylor Road at lunch time today (Friday 17th April). Therefore there is no home game tomorrow.
Cambridge have stated that they only have five fit seniors and therefore are unable to field a side. As a consequence Cantabs are now playing Shelford Development in the final at Newmarket on May 2nd.
Both of our junior sides have away matches locally, should anybody care to support them. Our 2nd XV will travel to play Ely Development, who were unbeaten champions of Eastern Counties 3W. Our 3rd XV will also travel to compete against Newmarket Development.
Next Saturday, 25th April, prior to our Annual Awards Dinner at Newnham College, our 2nd XV have a playoff match away to Swaffham to decide which of the two Clubs will play in Eastern Counties 1 next season. Kick-off will be at 14.30.
