Cantabs 2nds and 3rds finish season in style

April 27, 2013

St Neots was the venue on 27th April for the Greene King Cup Finals day and both of our teams finished the season with silverware.

Our 3rd XV defeated Mildenhall 2nds by 24 points to 19 to win the GK Deuxieme Plate, scoring three converted tries in the first half and a penalty after the break.

Not to be outdone, and facing a strong wind in the second half of their GK Premiere Plate final, our 2nd XV came from 14 to 8 down at half time to completely outplay Cambridge Exiles after the break; recording a memorable 27 to 14 victory against our great rivals.

Congratulations to Mike Denman and Jon Railton for captaining the sides to a great Cantabs double. A great finish to another successful Cantabs season.
