With parts of the pitch under water and the College pitch also unavailable to us, because of the ground conditions; we have had to abandon any hopes of a home game this weekend. Very disappointing for Cantabs and our supporters who had been hoping for a continuance of the unbeaten run for the 1st XV which goes back to the second game of the season.
As a consequence, the Members' lunch which should have preceded this game, is also CANCELLED.
It is likely that this fixture, and the lunch, will be held next Saturday (7th March) - subject of course to our pitch drying out in the week ahead. Further communication on this rescheduled fixture will follow.
