What's on at Cantabs?

After the big freeze rugby returns to Sedley Taylor Road in a big way with all three teams in action, 2 home games plus 'le Crunch' on the big screen!

The 1st XV travel up to Ipswich hoping to continue to build on recent strong performances and climb themselves up the league table. A heavy duty front row of Perksy, Tom and Isaia will be looking to assert some dominance in the set piece and in the loose, backed up by a dynamic back row of Rich, Finn and Pete. Adam Fastnedge and Drew Tilley combine in the centres and Fergus Wilson is amongst the finishers ready to show off his speed in the outside channels.

The 2s play host to Norwich Medics who are going well in the new eastern counties structure this year and have selected a strong physical pack, with Nat Higg and Wyoming Jeffries combining in the Engine Room. At fly-half skipper Rick Peters continues on the back of a number of strong performances and will be looking for good service on the front foot from Alistair McKee. There is also plenty of pace available in the wide channels with Mara Tunivanua and Finlay Wilson on the wings.

In the second home game the 3XV play host to local rivals Sawston in what is always a well contested game. Josh Schmidt and Chris Lovett look to provide some direction at halfbacks with plenty of ball carrying options outside from Matt Shepherd, Robbo and Gideon Emmanuel. Up front Phillip Brooke, Keith and Tom Heaver will be hoping to provide stability and dynamism.

After the games the fire will be lit, the beer will be flowing and England v France will be on the big screen. See you all there!
