All three teams are back in action after the Christmas break, with the 1XV travelling to Essex to face South Woodham Ferrers. The two clubs sit second and third in the table so a tight contest is expected. Cantabs tight 5 has a familiar feel with Laurence Jones stepping up in the back row. Nick Denham slots in at scrum half and Euan looks to pull the strings at fly half. On the bench Nathan Davenport and Will McFadyan will looking to make their first team debuts.
The 2s host Saffron Walden 2s on Long Road, with Chris Lovett taking the reigns at Fly Half, with Chris Kelly coming in outside him to add some direct running. Tom VdP and Chris Cutler make their first second team starts in the pack, with Charlie Searle bringing his depth of experience to the second row.
Meanwhile the 3s travel to Wendens Ambo looking to push on from there excellent 14 man victory over St Ives. There are still a few spaces in the squad so if you fancy a game please get in touch with Captain Tom Heaver!
