In memory of Jim Burns, Cantabs and Ely are going to play a "vets" game on the 17th Dec at Ely, KO is 11am, the afternoon is the Ely vs Cantabs EC1 league game.
The Cantabs side is to be made up of his fellow Cantabs players and friends plus the 2nds to help the team play for 80 minutes!!
Everyone is invited to come along and play (even for 1 minute counts!) and to support this game in his memory.
We will be producing a one-off Cantabs shirt for the game (old style blue/white hoops) which will be for sale and used for the day as the match shirts and also for sale to any of the supporters who would like to purchase one. All money raised from the sale of the shirts will be a club donation to Jimmy's family.
The shirt will cost £40 and we do need firm orders (name and shirt size - 26/28, 30/32, 34/36, 38/40, 42/44, 46/48, 50/52, 54/56) to me either by cheque or electronic payment to Cantabs by SUNDAY 13th NOVEMBER.
